@RVFixerUpper
Steve and Trina Sholin are house-flippers-turned-RV-flippers, and the quality and attention to detail they put into their work is what makes the RVs they renovate truly feel like a home and not just a camper.

I love how Kevin and Mandy use color in their decor. The photo below is the first RV they renovated to live in, and their renovation of the toy hauler they upgraded to is amazing as well!

Not only is their RV beautiful, but through their gorgeous photography, they give you a glimpse into their life and show you that it’s actually possible for 5 people to enjoy living together in a tiny space!

Karlton and Toni’s RV was the first one that made me think I might actually enjoy living in a motorhome. Now they’re planning to upgrade to a fifth wheel, and I’m looking forward to following their “slightly bigger adventure” as well!

It’s been fun following the adventures of this Bay area couple and their teenage daughters as they turn a 1990 toy hauler into a farmhouse-on-wheels.

RV interior designer Wendy’s glampers are truly works of art. What amazes me the most is how each trailer she renovates has its own completely unique style!

This pretty camper was home to a family of 4 while they were their dream home, an adorable farmhouse. They did a fantastic job of making this trailer a cozy place to live in the meantime!

This is another motorhome that makes me think I might be okay with downsizing from my current fifth wheel if I could renovate one to look as beautiful as that!

Another RV family that makes me think having kids shouldn’t stop anyone from living on the road! This couple converted their toy hauler’s master bedroom into a bedroom for their kids, and turned the garage part of the RV into a bedroom for themselves.

@PleadingTheFifth_Wheel
Not only does their renovation give me ideas for my own fifth wheel, but I love following this family on Instagram because Renee often shares thoughts that remind me that tiny living is less about having the most beautiful RV and more about living your life in a way that makes you feel happy and free.

I love this. We’re on the homestretch of renovating our RV and I am SO excited about how it’s turning out! Will share pics soon!
Yay! That’s exciting! 🙂 Be sure to tag me!
We had a 2001 allegro 31 ds. I loved it but hubby not so much so we sold it and bought a new toy hauler pull behind. I was a lil sad cause I wasn’t finished with my vision. We had it for two years and put 11,000 miles on it.
We had just dialed in the packing and fueling ect. But life is waaaay too short to be that unhappy. Those two years were a huge learning curve for us
I kinda know what you mean – we are still in our first RV but I’m wondering how long it’s going to feel like the right one for us. For that reason I’ve put off making major changes – not so much because I’m afraid of affecting resale value (it’s already 10 years old) but because I don’t want to go to all that trouble and then decide to sell it.
we remolded our 5th wheel in a western style. i thought that it was beautiful, but we were surprised that not everyone who came to look at it love the western style. Oh everyone thought we did an awesome job. Anyway long story short, remember the resale factor.
We recently bought a 1997 24 ft Minnie Winnie. I would like to do something different with the over the cab area. I haven’t seen any ideas for this space and wondered if they can be used for other than sleeping spaces?
Thanks
I have wondered about this as well as I have thought if I ever buy a Class C I would like to put that space to some good use other than just stashing my extra stuff up there. One idea I recall seeing a while back (but can’t remember where) was to turn that space into a reading nook, with shelves for books along the wall (with something across them to hold them in place) and some comfy pillows. If I see any other good ideas I’ll come back here and let you know!
