A Luxurious Kitchen

The kitchen is often the heart of the home—even in an RV. Vieve added a new sink and oven, but it's the vent hood making a statement!

Vieve also replaced the countertops and added a decorative counter-to-ceiling tile backsplash.

Perfectly painted cabinets and new decorative shelving make this refurbished camper kitchen look straight out of a magazine!

Psst! This camper is currently for sale—all furniture and decor included. Check out all of the photos here.

A Fireplace Always Makes an RV Feel Cozy!

Electrical fireplaces are a common addition to RVs by professional remodelers. They are a great way to add both heat and ambiance to a camper.

Vieve also chose to replace the old camper couch with a new pull-out sleep sectional sofa that boasts storage in the chaise.

Ditching the Dinette Booth

Hands down the most popular RV remodel is removing the existing dinette booth. (Followed closely by removing the old valances and blinds!)

Vieve built a dinette bench with storage and added two chairs to create a half-booth setup for the dining area.

Want to do the same?

Removing the dinette is even easier than you might think! All you need is a drill or screwdriver and the patience to find the hidden screws keeping your dining booth in place. If you find mechanisms and hoses hidden under your booth seating, a half-booth dining option like this might suit you. Then you don't have to move any systems built into the RV, but you can still open up your dining booth space to the rest of your RV.

Never Underestimate Decorative Shelves

Decorative shelves are a great way to add style and personality to your RV, but many people worry about installing them.

You can install shelves directly into your wall with the screws.

If you remove cabinets to make room for shelves or remove valances from your windows, measure the length of the screws used by the manufacturer. Don't use screws longer than this on your RV walls. (You can even reuse those old screws on your new shelves!)

If you add decor to your shelves, you can use acrylic tape to keep it in place while you're driving. We swear by this double-sided tape as a great way to keep anything in place while you're bumping down the road!
