Tips for Putting in & Using a Combo RV Washer/Dryer

1. Weigh your RV before purchasing a washer/dryer. You shouldn’t go over your RV’s recommended total loaded weight because it can be very dangerous. Before adding a washer/dryer, check your weight when your RV is packed up for a travel day (including full tanks and people). Then, make sure you can add the extra washer/dryer weight safely.

2. Double check your measurements. Make sure your washer/dryer combo will fit into the space you want it to, as well as through your front door!

3. Check that you have all the parts you need. Sometimes the parts the washer/dryer came with also won’t be long enough, so you may have to adjust to fit your situation. You may also need to add a vent, depending on your washer/dryer and RV setup.

How to Do Laundry in an RV

You hopefully already know how to do laundry ? But there are a few things to keep in mind when doing laundry in an RV.

1. Keep your loads small.

2. Only do laundry when hooked up to water and electricity.
