Thinking of a beach-themed makeover for your RV bedroom? Let these beautiful bedrooms inspire you!
1. Mermaid Kingdom
The dark wood of Bobbi’s RV bedroom makes me think of a ship’s cabin. The headboard is made from framed stained glass.

You can find her blue and white beach wood wallpaper here.

See more photos of this RV here.
2. Colorful Sea Life
RV owner Suzanne used Mod Podge to decoupage hostess napkins over the mirror panels of her cabinets. She painted the mirrors white underneath the napkins to provide an opaque background.
Here is an up-close view. Her curtains are from Target and her bedspread came from Bed Bath and Beyond.

3. Under the Sea
A low ceiling becomes a room’s best feature with the addition of white fairy lights, netting, and buoy float ornaments.

4. Beach Cottage
Both the headboard and blogger Shirley’s string lights are DIY projects that could be used in an RV. Learn how to make both the overhead light fixture and the small globe lights here.

5. Seaside Retreat
Not all shiplap has to be white. Blue or gray shiplap can add color and a vintage feel to a nautical or beach themed room. This wall was a DIY project made from 1/4″ plywood. See the instructions here.)

6. Bright and Cheerful
Another DIY headboard idea. Ocean themed throw pillows complete the beach cottage look of this room.

7. Beachwood Bedroom
Here is an RV bedroom that utilizes shutters like the ones above as well as distressed wooden boxes and beach wood wallpaper.

See more photos of Michele’s process here.
8. Beach Resort
The owner of this RV covered her mirror closet doors with a wall mural to create a relaxing environment in her bedroom.

9. Cool and Calming
RV owner Jamie paired beach wood wallpaper with light blue walls, white cabinets, and a matching curtain for her beach cottage look.

I need tips on what to fill in around lighthouses. I have 5 placed on the valance over the sliding glass doors
Hi Julia, I’m not sure what you mean by lighthouses – do you have a picture you could add to show me?
I will send pics nect time we go to beach. However the lighthouses are from Hallmark Historical Collection of NC Lighthouses. I have 5 named Cape Hatteras, Currituck, Okracoke, Bodie, Oak Island. Just FYI .
Thanks
Oh I see, you were asking for decor ideas (sorry I was slow to catch on!)…what about some fisherman’s netting woven around the lighthouses with small seashells and sand dollars glued in it?
Also…Cape Lookout (Harker’s Island through south Outer Banks) and Bald Head Island (Old Baldy), There are a total of 7 lighthouses and 2 river/creek lighthouses; Roanoke River lighthouse (Plymouth), and Pine Creek Lighthouse (Southport).
