Renovating the interior of your RV can be a fun and rewarding project, and you don’t have to paint the walls to achieve a fresh, updated look. We’ve rounded up a few examples of RV renovations without painting the walls that we love!

Many of these ideas are beginner-friendly and budget-friendly, and most importantly, they add personal style and a cozy feel to your home on wheels.

Here are ten great ideas for your next RV renovation (without painting!)

1. Add a Photo Wall

Creating a gallery wall with photos, artwork, and other decorative items is one of my favorite RV interior updates. You’ll want to use lightweight frames and adhesive hooks or strips to avoid putting holes in the walls. A photo wall totally personalizes your space and makes it feel more like home!

2. Create a Drop Zone

RVs always need more organization, so creating a command center is a great use of wall space. Hang a multifunctional item, such as a combination mail collector, chalkboard, and hooks. Placing this near the front door is also a practical choice.

3. Peel & Stick Wallpaper

Technically, this isn’t painting (though it can be the same cost as painting an RV interior). However, it adds so much color, texture, and pattern to your RV interior! Many peel-and-stick wallpapers are easily removable, so it’s not a permanent fix, but it adds a huge impact.

4. Add Shelves

I love shelves because they can be added to almost any room in your RV and are practical! Adding shelves maximizes space and enhances organization. Floating shelves provide versatile storage for books, kitchen essentials, or decorative items—like in this adorable kitchen!

5. Add Lighting

There are truly so many different wall lights on the market now that adding a sconce or puck light to your RV wall is easier and more affordable than ever. It adds extra lighting, style, and can be as easy as hanging a picture frame.

There are so many things to hang up in an RV: coats, dog leashes, keys, and a fly swatter…so having more hooks never hurts. We love adding hooks with command strips as well. You can install hooks in a few minutes – it really doesn’t get easier than that!

Adding lightweight baskets to the wall is a fun and stylish solution that adds both personality and storage. You can store almost anything in a basket (they are great for keys and small everyday items!) and when you want to take it down, simply pull it off the hook or nail.

8. Create a Chalkboard

This could be approached with or without paint. Chalkboard paint offers a lightweight option (since it’s essentially paint!), though it’s permanent. Alternatively, you can hang or lean a chalkboard on the wall. It’s ideal for writing lists, travel schedules, or keeping kids occupied!

9. Paneling
