RV remodels and van conversions are popular among DIYers and professionals alike. One RV renovator, Alice Zealy of rain2shine ventures, is known for creating high-quality, custom renovations for clients.

We love following @rain2shineventures on Instagram and seeing her latest van conversions and remodels, so we collected photos and videos of our top seven favorites to share!

Prepare to be blown away by her bold uses of color and impeccable decor!

1. Colorful Boho Van Conversion

This Dodge Ram van was a shell when Alice received it and was transformed for a retiree to take on cross-country adventures. Painted pure white and mild blue (both Sherwin Williams shades), this bright RV interior feels instantly welcoming.

Van conversions are a serious undertaking. They are much more expensive than RV remodels, where you have systems, furniture, and appliances already in place. Most van conversions like this one start as an empty shell. For a renovator, it’s a blank slate with endless possibilities. I love that this van conversion actually offers counter space—something you rarely see in vans!

This van conversion even features real tile backsplash. Yes, you can install real tiles in any RV renovation!

But perhaps the best part of this renovation was the client’s reaction when he saw it for the first time! So sweet ?

2. Who says white and blue has to be nautical?

This 2003 Holiday Rambler Presidential was Alice’s first camper remodel and the RV she calls home. Most of the RV is bright white, but she used this wallpaper on the stairs and slide out trim to add a splash of color.

This bright fifth wheel has accents of personality mixed in, like the bold light fixtures in the kitchen and living room.

You can add any 12V light fixture to your RV, so why not get creative with your light fixtures? I love how unique these ones are, and wiring them is simple enough that you can do it on your own.

3. A Motorhome with a Purpose ?

We love seeing vans and RVs turned into beautiful tiny homes, but this one is special. Instead of retaining the floorplan to create another renovated RV, this motorhome was turned into a mobile rescue vehicle for dogs.

This RV had to be completely rebuilt from floor to ceiling from damage, but it was salvaged and turned into something impactful.

4. A High-End Van Conversion

Hands down, this is one of my favorite van conversions I’ve ever seen!

This Sprinter Cargo Van is a 170-inch wheelbase model with a high roof. The overall height is about 9 feet (tire to ceiling), and it measures just under 23 feet long. This small van was a dream come true for a retiring couple who wanted a classic but fun space.

But this van has a few amazing features you can’t see in photos. Check out the video below for a full walk-through. My favorite feature is at the 1:27 minute mark!

5. A Dazzling White Fiver

I love all of the sparkling gold finishes in this remodel!

This 2018 Prime Time Crusader Lite 5th wheel was renovated for a small family with a two-year-old and two dogs. They wanted something functional to allow them to travel full-time and work remotely.

There’s a bunk room, convertible office, huge bathroom and shower, and more residential features in this fifth wheel to adapt it for full-time living.

6. Class C Turned Cozy Cottage

If you’re not a fan of bold color, these muted grey/green cabinets and butcher block counters are the perfect balance. This small class C motorhome is bright with pops of color that don’t overwhelm the space.

7. A Sleek and Colorful Tiny Home

This fifth wheel was completely gutted and rebuilt for a couple in Texas dreaming of the open road full-time.

The clients requested features like open shelving in the kitchen, a fireplace, and a washing machine. As remote workers, a desk and office area was another essential add.
